Our Story

Entertainment First was born from a passion that started young. Our founder, Aaron Jay, began DJing and MCing at just 12 years old in 2013 — cutting his teeth at school events and small parties before developing the craft that would eventually lead to performing at some of Melbourne's most prestigious venues.

Over the years, Aaron grew multiple entertainment brands across Victoria, building a reputation for professionalism, energy and genuine care for every client.

As demand grew and the team expanded, those brands were merged into one — Entertainment First — a name that reflects the company's core philosophy: your entertainment experience comes first, always.

Today, Entertainment First is home to a team of over 10 professionals — DJs, MCs, musicians, photo booth technicians and AV specialists — all united by the same passion for creating extraordinary events.

We've earned over 90 glowing ABIA reviews and have been recognised by Vogue Ballroom as one of Melbourne's premier entertainment companies.
